I had the privilege of using the Whilst Mama Waits journal during the latter half of my pregnancy and what a journal it is. The weekly declarations became an anchor for me, helping me intentionally focus my mind on the truth of God’s word at every stage of the journey. Due to the path I had walked to get to this pregnancy, mind management became my greatest challenge whilst pregnant. It wasn’t a one-time victory, it was something I had to win daily. This journal supported me in doing exactly that. What I loved most is how the declarations align with the development of the baby as pregnancy progresses. It allowed me to be intentional with my words, ensuring they framed my daughter’s growth exactly as God designed it. I also deeply appreciated the Spirit, Soul, Body declarations, which I returned to regularly for grounding, reassurance, and strength. The greatest strength of this journal is that it keeps you focused on faith over fear, truth over uncertainty and God’s promises over anxious thoughts. It is more than a journal; it is a daily companion for the heart, mind and spirit during pregnancy.
